Cooperative Exchange – Our Advocacy

The Cooperative Exchange is the recognized resource and representative of the clearinghouse industry for the media, governmental bodies and other outside interested parties. We are committed to achieving improved and more efficient connectivity for electronic healthcare transactions. The association addresses regulatory and compliance issues pertaining to the industry through whitepapers and dialogue with government officials. The Cooperative Exchange has been at the forefront of the NPI rollout, adoption of the 837 electronic claim and responses, and meeting with congressional leaders to discuss the impact of HIPAA on the healthcare industry.
