Cybersecurity and Privacy Committee

Purpose

The Committee objective is to position the Cooperative Exchange and its members involved with the development of cybersecurity solutions and services as industry thought leaders and go-to resources for those looking to learn more on these critical topics. The primary focus of this committee is to educate and provide best practices on all aspects of cybersecurity and privacy.

Through educational forums and insightful dialogue with members and the industry, the committee will become a valuable resource to the membership and other industry stakeholders who want to stay updated on the current issues and developments that pertain to cyber security and privacy.

The committee will collaborate with other industry stakeholders and federal regulatory agencies as appropriate, to continue to improve cybersecurity and privacy standards in the healthcare industry.

Scope

• Investigate the numerous privacy and security certifications/accreditations, etc.
• Determine opportunity to streamline the identified privacy and security audit process and requirements.
